The salon queue, without the full bench
At the barber or the salon, on Saturdays and before holidays, walk-ins can wait an hour on the bench. Some walk away when they see the room is full. With ranna they take their turn by scanning the QR in the window, see how many people are ahead and come back when their phone rings.
What goes wrong today
Clients who walk away
A full room is off-putting: the passer-by who looks through the window doesn’t come in.
Waits nobody can estimate
A quick cut or a colour, durations vary. Clients can’t tell if it’s ten minutes or an hour.
Holiday eves
Before Eid or a wedding, demand explodes and the salon spills onto the pavement.
How it works with ranna
- 01
The client scans the QR in the window or at the desk and joins the queue.
- 02
They see their position and an estimate, then go run an errand.
- 03
When a chair frees up, the stylist taps Call.
- 04
The phone rings: the client comes back just in time, without waiting on site.
What matters to you
Keep more clients
The person who would have given up at a full room takes a turn and comes back.
A calmer salon
Fewer people sitting around, more room for those being served.

Frequently asked questions
Can clients join without being at the salon?
The QR is meant to be scanned on site. If you share the QR link on social media, clients can also join remotely.
Does it work with appointments?
Yes. Booked clients stay in your diary; ranna only handles the walk-in queue.
What if a client doesn’t come back?
The stylist marks them as a no-show in one tap and calls the next. The client sees on their ticket that the turn has passed.
Do we need a tablet?
No. The console works on the stylist’s phone.
