A QR code queue ticket for the pharmacy counter
A pharmacy queue is rarely a line: people walk in, spread out in front of the counters and everyone keeps track of who came first. Tension builds quickly, especially in the evening or on duty nights. With ranna, everyone who walks in scans a QR and gets a number: arrival order becomes visible and undisputed, and people waiting for a preparation can step out.
What goes wrong today
“I was here before you”
Without tickets, the order depends on everyone’s memory. Arguments at the counter are common.
Preparations that hold the counter
A customer waiting for an order or a preparation occupies space and staff for long minutes.
A ticket machine to maintain
Paper ticket dispensers are expensive, run out of rolls and say nothing about how long is left.
How it works with ranna
- 01
On the way in, the customer scans the QR on the door or counter and gets a number.
- 02
Pharmacists call the next number from the console on their computer or a tablet.
- 03
The phone rings and the screen shows the number and which counter to go to.
- 04
For a preparation, the customer leaves with their ticket and comes back when called.

Frequently asked questions
Is it useful for a small neighbourhood pharmacy?
Yes, especially after office hours and on duty nights. The free plan covers one counter to start.
Can we give priority to an elderly person or an emergency?
Yes. The pharmacist can call any ticket in the list, not only the next one.
Is an internet connection needed?
Yes, the pharmacy’s for the console and the customer’s for the ticket. Data use is minimal.
Do customers see their waiting time?
Yes, an estimate based on the counter’s real pace, updated live.
